Lecturer in Physical Chemistry
(Full time, fixed term 5 years)
The position is associated with the recent appointment of Professor Dwayne
Heard to the position of Head of the School of Chemistry. You will be
expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, have a
proven research record in physical chemistry, and be able to establish a
strong research programme to complement and further enhance the School’s
RAE rating. This post is available from October 2009 or as soon as possible
thereafter. There is also a possibility that this post may be extended
dependent upon funding.
With a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline, you will have a strong
track record of experimental research, and a history of attracting research
funding commensurate with your experience.
University Grade 7 (£32,458 - £35,469 p.a.) or University Grade 8 (£36,532 -
£43,622 p.a.)
