Kadir Has University, Faculty of Communication invites applications from
qualified candidates at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The
candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. at the time of employment.
Candidates should have applied, theoretical and/or research experience in
relevant fields including but not limited to:

•	Communication/cultural studies

•	Radio, Television and Cinema
•	Public Relations
•	Advertising/Marketing
•	Social psychology
•	Graphic Design, Web Design, Gaming
•	Photography
•	Animation
 
Faculty of Communication at Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey, is a
newly founded school with four undergraduate departments: Radio/TV/Cinema,
Public Relations and Information, Advertising, New Media, and Communication
Design. The Faculty also has two graduate programs—one in Communication
Studies and another one in Film and Drama—and is in the process of
establishing an M.A. program in New Media Technologies and a Ph.D. program
in Media Studies/Research. 

As the Faculty of Communication, we seek to build an interdisciplinary
academic environment and strengthen our research and teaching portfolio. 
Our current faculty has a highly diverse background, specializing in areas
such as communication sciences, cultural studies, drama, anthropology, film
studies, film art, interaction design and political science. The salary,
commensurate with rank, is highly competitive in international standards.

funding for junior faculty. 

Kadir Has University, founded in 1997, is located at the shore of Istanbul’s
Golden Horn, and in the close proximity of its cultural and historic
centers. Its historic Cibali Campus houses 6 faculties with about 3000
students and 120 full-time faculty members. The medium of instruction is
English.
