Twitter is the Internet equivalent of CB radio.
I wouldn't try and conduct business via CB radio, but I might listen
in to see what traffic was like on my route ahead. Likewise Twitter,
so perhaps a hashtag, decided here (#MCG ?) could be used when
appropriate and one of the aggregator tools could pull it together for
someone to monitor, and then any trending issues could be transferred
here for more considered discussion.
I'm sure a little digging around would find a tool to automate that
process.
