Culture24 is looking for an experienced Technical Producer with a passion for arts and culture and a creative enthusiasm for the future of online developments. You'll have a good working knowledge of web based services and lots of creative ideas for ways to develop our technical services so they are more effective, sustainable and can reach more people.
You will be responsible for overseeing all the new technical developments we are thinking about (plus some we haven't thought of yet), as well as ensuring the smooth running of all the current ones. In practice this will mean getting up to speed with strategic opportunities and plans, liaison with our technical providers and partners and ensuring all developments are realised smoothly and with flair.
Culture24's new family of websites, plus the data gathering and brokering role we provide for the sector, is gaining reputation and support from both the sector and government. This new post will play a key role in ensuring that in the next year our services are able to make the leap forward necessary to reach out to audiences in greater numbers and in more meaningful ways.
Working as part of a small but entrepreneurial team in our Brighton office you will be integral to the development of our publishing and data sharing strategy. You'll need to be well organised, creative and willing to learn fast. You'll have practical experience - either in the creative industries, publishing, education or the arts, as well as a strong project management methodology and an eye for detail.
