Hi,
I was just running a new sequence through the FDT processing pipeline to
make sure it worked properly, and for some reason I got the following error
message shortly after starting the Probtrakx step (at '2_2'):
Errors: Image Exception #99 :: Out of memory
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'RBD_COMMON::BaseException'
This occurs both when I test a mask or even a single voxel.
Although the dyads files seem to be okay, I thought that there might be a
problem with the bedposted data so I decided to try starting again from
scratch but now the bedpost step is taking forever to process. Normally it
only takes a little over a day to process but now it's been almost 2 full
days and it is still only on slice 36 of 46.
I've checked my system processes to make sure there isn't anything else
running that shouldn't be there. I'm using a Dell XPS desktop with an i7
920 processor and 6 GB RAM.
I even went back and re-tested some of my other sequences (at the probtrackx
step) that I've previously run and they seem to be working fine.
The seqence itself was acquired on a GE 1.5T machine with 3mm slices and 55
directions (b=1000) with 5 b=0.
Any ideas on what could be going wrong? Do you think it is the sequence or
the post-processing?
Thanks in advance.
