School of Geographical Sciences
This post is based in the School of Geographical Sciences and available for
two years and nine months. We are particularly interested in candidates
with expertise in economic geography, development geography, political
geography and/or political ecology.
You will have demonstrable experience in teaching and an emerging
international reputation for research (or will be able to demonstrate a
capacity to build such a reputation). You will be required to teach
introductory economic geography and contribute more broadly to the human
geography teaching programme, including through supervision of
undergraduate dissertations. In addition, you will be encouraged to develop
your own research agenda, and participate in the full range of activities
in the School. It is expected that this appointment will commence on or
before 28 September 2009.
