Thanks for all your help.
Wim - unfortunately, I don't know where to change the webaddress - in
the pull down menu, the https address is the only one on offer and I
don't know which file I would have to ammend if I did it by hand.
I'm using Centos, so it looks like I could easily install pyOpenSSL with
yum - though this would presumably only affect the default python
version. However, I'm using the precompiled version of Analysis, so I
suspect this uses the version of python which comes with Analysis, and
hence updating the default python probably won't help, will it?
If I tried to update the Analysis version of python, where would I be
able to get openssl and libssl-dev from, where would I have to place
them and in which directory do I then find the configure and make files?
Do you essentially mean re-installing/compiling Analysis?
Could the SSL part perhaps be included in the precompiled version of
Analysis in future? That might be the easiest thing and in the mean time
I will send the data unencrypted if I can find the right file to edit.
Thanks,
Vicky
