The next meeting of the South West RMS will be held on 6 July at the
Gloucestershire Archives in Gloucester.
The theme for the day is Information Assurance.
There will be 3 presentations
Scanning and the importance of retrieval - Jonathan Derrick, Zylabs
Doing a BIP0008 audit, Throw that paper away – Chris Tinsley, Wiltshire Council
Curating digital information – What Gloucestershire’s Information Management
& Archives is doing - Viv Cothey, Gloucestershire Archives
This event is also the AGM of the South West RMS. We will be electing a new
Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer for the branch. It is important that
members attend if possible.
The day is being sponsored by Zylabs who are kindly supplying refreshments
and lunch.
The day is open to members and non-members of the Records Management
Society. We are always open to new people attending from within or outside
of the South West. This is
not just a forum for LA's and the emergency services, we would love some
input from industry, education and students.
If you are interested in attending please e-mail me for an Agenda.
