"Using Evidence To Develop Community And Primary Health Care:
Challenges And Opportunities"
Registration is now open for this half-day conference organised by the Primary & Community Care Research Support Programme (PCCRSP).
Wednesday 24th June 2009, 1:00 – 5:00pm (Lunch from noon)
Conference Suite, Keyworth Building, London South Bank University
How can we ensure that community and primary care services thrive in the future? How can evidence best be generated to provide a base for both practice and investment in these services? How can research by community and primary care health practitioners and staff be supported to provide evidence for service development and change?
This half-day conference brings together keynote speakers and research by primary and community care staff from Southwark and Lambeth PCTs to promote discussion and debate about developing evidence for community and primary health services and the people who provide them.
It is particularly relevant for directors, managers and staff in NHS community service provider organisations, and for directors and managers in commissioning PCTs who are responsible for using evidence to improve services. It will also benefit academic staff that want to develop research for collaboration with the NHS.
This conference is free for all delegates and includes lunch from noon. The PCCRSP is supported by the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity.
