>Hours:          Full-time - 35 hours per week

>    * Assist with the preparation of press releases and media briefings.

>    * Summarise government documents, collate evidence for parliamentary

>    * Assist with preparation of position papers on Foundation policy views.

>Person specification
>    * Graduate or post-graduate from a geography, transport, environment 
> or economics background with an interest in transport policy.
>    * Good research and analysis skills, with the ability to prepare reports.
>    * Good numeracy and literacy skills.
>    * An effective verbal communicator.
>    * Knowledge of Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint. Experience of statistical 
> packages such as SPSS would be an advantage.
>    * Previous experience in either transport or a research role would be 
> desirable.
