Dear list members,

I was asked to publicise this SUDS event to the list, which I am happy
to do. Perhaps some of you will find their way to Central England on 12
and 13 November.

Best wishes and regards

SUDSnet 2009 (Sustainable Drainage Systems Conference)

                      Coventry TechnoCentre, England

                 November 12th and 13th 2009
http://www.sudsnet.abertay.ac.uk/SUDSnetConference2009.htm

About SUDSnet: SUDSnet (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems Network) is
an international network and has around 600 members (most are based in
the UK) and an on-line presence with information on SUDS which is
regularly accessed by members and non-members. It has the most
comprehensive access to the SUDS community in the UK. 75% of SUDSnet
members are practitioners working in the UK on Sustainable drainage,
water management, water regulation, landscape and design (25% are
academics and researchers).

The conference is open to everyone - you do not have to be a SUDSnet
member to attend (and membership of SUDSnet is free)
Registration costs: £175+VAT to attend both days

Who will be there: This 2-day meeting will attract a prestigious mix of
SUDS professionals. Leaders in the field of SUDS practice, regulation
and research will address the conference. There will also be posters and
exhibition displays on SUDS practice, case-studies, proprietory
products, and other SUDS-related topics. Around 100 hundred delegates
are expected to attend. Previous events have been supported by
industry-leaders in paving, hard surfaces, proprietory SUDS
applications, environmental consultants and water management experts.

Sponsorship and Reasons to Sponsor: This is an excellent opportunity to
present your strengths to the wider SUDS community. This meeting will
promote your company to a broad-based and high-level professional and
academic community involved in SUDS. This conference gives your product
direct and immediate impact within the SUDS community including exposure
to designers/architects, Local Authorities, regulators and the
construction industry. Within the UK this is the only forum to gain such
exposure with respect to SUDS and SUDS applications - a rapidly growing
market which is increasing supported by legislation and regulation for
sustainability in the construction sector. Sponsorship information can
be found on the SUDSnet web pages.
