Good Practice Workshop: Universities and Festivals: 28 July 2009, Bristol
How can universities engage the public through festivals? Is it best to run your own event from
scratch, or is it more effective to work with other festivals? The National Co-ordinating Centre for
Public Engagement is running a Good Practice Workshop to bring together people with experience of
engaging the public through public festivals. Workshop participants will help determine a number of
resources to support people to make the most of the opportunity festivals provide.
If you would like to attend this free event please contact Sophie Duncan, [log in to unmask] .
Please note this event is aimed at people who already participate in festivals, and who could help
create resources to support others. Speakers and facilitators on the day have experience of working
on science, environment, arts and ideas festivals. Places are limited.
