People in Public Health – Expert Hearings summary report
** Apologies for cross posting **
A summary report from a series of expert hearings on lay people in public
health roles has just been published. The national hearings brought together
experts from many different fields of work including NHS, voluntary sector and
academic institutions, to give evidence about approaches to involving lay
workers and volunteers. The report is part of a two-year study, ‘People in
Public Health’, which is investigating lay engagement in public health activities.
The summary report can be accessed through the People in Public Health
