Dear Ayesha,
this is more about matlab then SPM. Matlab has many variable types, such
as matrices, arrays and cell arrays. Here you are dealing with cell
arrays.
To use SPM as a power user, learning the basics of matlab programming
first is a necessity IMHO. Without that using automation features of SPM
does not make much sense.
These resources might help a lot:
http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/index.html?/access
/helpdesk/help/techdoc/learn_matlab/bqr_2pl.html
Especially the chapter "matrices and arrays" as well as "programming"
could be helpful here.
Good luck,
Bas

Onderwerp: [SPM] Basic of SOT
Dear SPM Users
While studing spm5, I found in the manual load 'sot', I have opened the
mat file for sot and found that it contains these:
[26x1 double] [26x1 double] [26x1 double] [26x1 double]
in the event related response with the dataset containg
familiar/nonfmiliar face detection.
what actually this 26x1 double] [26x1 double] [26x1 double] [26x1
double] signifies. Sir I'm a beginner here , would you please help me
with that.
Thank u
Ayesha
