Don't forget Bruce Connor, who went to high school with Michael McClure and joined back up with him in San Francisco. Connor - in film and sculpture/painting - provides the veil slitting gothic punch to those times. If you can find it, rent his short flic call. "A Movie" or, is it, "This is a Movie". A collage plugged, that one is. right into the early 60's terror/hysteria of annihilation (e.g., the Atom/Hydrogen bomb).
