Donald,

I am a therapeutic clown artist working in a Children's Hospital (twenty years this August!). I work in our child life department and humour and clowning in particular are used to help relieve the stress and anxiety of hospitalization in children and their families. I am also a founding member and former steering committee chair of the Canadian Association of Therapeutic Clowns.

I do not think I am the person you are looking for, at this point but I do wish to commend you for your work and ask that you keep me updated on the development of this theory.

Best wishes,

David Langdon

Child Life Specialist/Therapeutic Clown

Winnipeg Children's Hospital
