Definitely worth a look - I featured this link as the pick of the week at
first glance in the last newsletter I sent out. Then had a chance to
explore it more carefully and it deserves a special mention.
This very interesting xls application is for tracking health outcomes in
relation to interventions on a per patient basis. For client tracking and
teaching - this app permits consistency and measurement of one's own
practices and interventions. For teaching purposes, you can compare
student assessments and interventions with those of experienced clinicians
in relation to real patients and keep a record of progress - not only the
patient's progress but how your assessment and interventions agree those
of your peers and instructors.
I downloaded it as well as the manual.
Apparently, it permits the following (excerpt from manual which you can
download for free):
"This application may be used to track and represent individual patient
responses to treatments over time. Additionally, patients may be assigned
to specific treatment groups.
User defined variables representing treatment and response parameters may
be defined across clinically relevant domains.
Client notes may be kept to provide details the context of the visit in
relation to patient progress or deterioration as this pertains to the
scaled clinical judgment across variables defined for the group."
It is like your own personal patient e-record! Worth a close look!
