We are looking to invest strategically in the Department of Economics to build
on well established strengths, and as part of the evolution into a full service
Business School of international repute.
The University of Exeter Business School is seeking to appoint a Temporary
Lecturer in Econometrics from September 2009 on a fixed term basis of 12
months in the first instance; funding permitting the School would anticipate
extending the post. 75% of the research in Economics and Econometrics at
Exeter was rated as world class or internationally excellent (3* and 4*) in the
Economics sub-panel of the Research Assessment Exercise 2008; it was
second in the UK National Students Survey 2008 (across all programmes at all
universities); and tenth in the UK by the Times Good University Guide 2009.

The starting salary will be from £31,513 up to £35,469 on Grade F, depending
