MANAGING EDITOR: AFRICA RESEARCH INSTITUTE
Africa Research Institute is looking for an experienced writer and editor to develop our range of publications. Working closely with our director, you will supervise our entire writing process from provisional research to final editing. Our small team in London works with diverse outside contributors to produce a variety of publications including topical briefing notes, authored reports, policy papers and edited collections.
Experience in international journalism or publishing is essential to demonstrate your talents as a rigorous and sensitive editor. You must be self-motivated, well organised and able to sustain productive relationships with our contributors. This position may be full or part time, and will include opportunities to develop your own research ideas for publication. Preference will be given to candidates who have lived and worked in Africa .
Africa Research Institute is a non-partisan think tank based in Westminster , London . Our brief is to look for ideas with a record of success in Africa and to identify areas where new ideas are needed. Registered UK charity 1118470.
