Reporting to the GIS Manager, you will provide support and advice to GIS
users, as well as consultancy and training. You will respond to enquiries by
users, specialists and others and your role will also involve maintaining
and supporting GIS applications and automated processes, including managing
data exchange with external partners.
With proven experience of using and installing MapInfo, you will be skilled
in spatial data manipulation and translation, preferably using MapBasic and
FME. You will also be familiar with computer data interrogation through ODBC
and SQL. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, together
with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
