this is still not possible.
You can give partial credit (given in percentages of the total points for that question), but that percentage should be between 0 and 100. That means you you can't give negative points for a question.

Hi:
Someone has asked me if it's possible to assign negative marks within an MCQ. The idea is to "award" -1 for an incorrect response. There was some correspondence a long while ago (2004) about this. I think the answer then was a firm "No".
We're on Release 8 BBAS with no Building Blocks added.
