Another Paradise
Are you who you think you are?
The Kali Theatre Company present a satirical comedy about sex,
corruption and Identity Cards.
In a world not so far in the future, biometric Identity Cards have
become compulsory and people are validated only by their digital ID in
the National Identity Computer. But the system is crumbling. ID fraud is
endemic. Identities are being accidentally lost, corrupted and even
deleted. But the all powerful system still decides who you are, even if
you are sure you are really someone else...
Five people's work lives, home lives... even their sex lives... are
thrown into confusion and chaos in this vivid hi-tech comedy when their
official identities disintegrate with surprising and hilarious results.
Award winning Kali has been creating ground breaking new theatre for
over 15 years that reflects and comments on our lives today.
'a thoroughly enjoyable play from Kali... a good piece of wacky British
radicalism'
Joyce McMillan in The Scotsman
'Refreshingly light-hearted... Makes impressive use of some hi-tech
effects...'
