medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Meg,
Ian Forrest has just published an article on Wycliffites and
excommunication, which touches also on predestination - the footnotes will
probably provide some leads: "William Swinderby and the Wycliffite Attitude
to Excommunication," The Journal of Ecclesiastical History 60 (2009):
246-269.

Subject: [M-R] Wycliffe, Hus, and predestination
medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Greetings all,
Wycliffe and Hus are a bit beyond my normal area of activity.
Students are making
claims that they believed in predestination, even double predestination. I´m
totally
ignorant on this question, though did not think these were major issue for
either one.
Can anyone elucidate? Also, there was one reference to the 'invisible' vs.
the 'visible'
church - does this ring any bells in connection with these two?
Meg
