Could I ask if there are any colleagues out there, within the London area, who have a cafe within their library,
and who would be willing for myself and a colleague to visit it shortly after Easter?
Reading between the lines you can work out where this is coming from! :-)
While we are open to the idea, we would rather have plans and ideas of our own to make this work in a way that
addresses the needs of all our library users, rather than something senior management have dreamt up!
We are a small (c.900 students), private university based in Richmond, Surrey and Kensington, London.
While it would be good to see facilities within institutions of a similar nature, I realise this may
not be possible, and we are open to seeing a number of facilties, even at much larger libraries,
in order to formulate our own plans.
I look forward to hearing from you, and hope that some of you can accomodate us.
