Information Compliance Manager
Thames Valley Police
Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Band 5K, circa £37,585 per annum, (grading to be confirmed)
Progression based on performance
In this role you will ensure that the Chief Constable's statutory obligations
regarding information compliance are effectively and lawfully discharged
through consultation and guidance whilst actively promoting good practice
across the Force.
You will have significant experience in a relevant information compliance
environment e.g. Data Protection or Freedom of Information with an
understanding of information management and information compliance
concepts and best practice. The ability to manage, motivate and develop
staff is also required along with excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.
Experience of writing and implementing policies and procedures is required
along with proven experience of risk based decision making and establishing
priorities whilst meeting deadlines. You will be able to take an independent
and objective approach, demonstrating the highest degree of integrity and
appreciation of the level of confidentiality required when discussing and
researching information.
Interviews are likely to take place around the 3rd week in May.
