Description/Responsibilities
Cognitive Neuroscience lab seeks a research assistant/lab manager. The
primary responsibilities of the research assistant are to run
experiments in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroimaging. The research
assistant will work with the PI to design and implement experiments
(primarily in virtual reality, VR) and then test experiments derived
from these programs with volunteer subjects. The researcher will also
be trained in neuroimaging and then subsequently assist with
programming and testing subjects in cognitive psychology experiments
while their brains are scanned. Research assistant will also
coordinate all aspects of lab business, including:
1) 1) Recruit, schedule, screen, and train subjects
2) 2) Train and work with students and postdocs
3) 3) Program and implement experiments
4) 4) Coordinate lab experiments at UCD Imaging Center
Qualifications
1) 1) Computer experience required, some programming experience
highly preferable
2) 2) B.A. in psychology or B.S. in science
3) 3) Previous research experience
