This approach has been considered, and only this week had some activity confirmed!
We are attempting to get it updated on the FIL website (version 5 I think) but postings can sometimes be a bit a slow!  The posting has been placed under the "Links to BLIC and Union Catalogues" subsection Theses.  However, I'm going to ask that it is also linked to in "Publications" - since this would make more logical sense!
It has now also been included as a link in the Ethos Toolkit - and this link points to the version on the SWRLS website.   www.swrls.org.uk - (it can be found on SWRLS in the Interlending Searching menu, under theses).
I will keep announcing new editions in future - but directing people to the websites instead of posting pdfs
