PRE-CONFERENCE, FLORENCE 19-20 AUGUST 2009
IFLA - ART LIBRARIES SECTION
"This pre-conference concerns the specific situation of art libraries in
Florence, presenting a group of national and international institutions col
laborating closely together and creating an important network for international
research. The conference is definitely linked to the World Library and
Information Congress in Milan (23-27 August 2009) by showing how such
historical libraries, libraries with museum and/or private art collections are
working together for future research technologies and academic exchange
building on their cultural heritage."

Please note: The IFLA Art Libraries Section Pre-Conference is a separate
event from the main IFLA conference taking place in Milan 23-27 August
2009. You do not need to be registered to attend the main conference to
register for the pre-conference. The registration fee of EURO 75,00 must be
paid via international bank transfer in advance of the event before deadline
May 31, 2009.
