Hi, Helen.
I do not have any experience with Merck/Hitachi HPLC system. However, I
used other HPLC systems such as Agilent, Shimadzu, Waters etc. In my
experience the safest way to do the calibration and data analysis is to
rerun the analytical sequence in offline mode and the software will export
raw data (peak areas, heights) into the .dat, .csv, .txt or similar file
format. Then you are in the position to do with data whatever you want
including calibration and calculation of concentrations of analytes in the
samples. With a little help of Visual BASIC you can automate this
semiautomatic procedure. Hope this helps.
