This two day international conference will bring together library and information workers, health professionals, researchers and those from the voluntary sector with an interest in the effective and innovative provision of health information for children and young people.
Sessions include:

· Health Information Literacy: How can we effectively deliver health information to young adults in a familiar medium?
· Health Wise: The primary and secondary school/6th form college library and their roles in promoting health and wellbeing through fact and fiction

· An Historical Examination of the Impact of Cultural Influences and Social Policies on the Availability of Sex Education Materials in U.S. Libraries.
· A Framework for Evaluating Web Portals Designed for Teen Health Information Seekers
· Young university students as health information seekers on the Internet – A comparison between Finland and Japan
· The Influence of Culture on Food and Health Messages in Translated Children’s Books
· The Development of a Healthy Lifestyle Programme for Adolescent Girls using an Action Research Approach
· Baby Café in Felixstowe Library (TBC)
