Good Day,
I am posting two tenure track academic positions now open in the Social Sciences Department here at Michigan Tech. The first search seeks a tenure-track faculty member in industrial archaeology, industrial history, and/or the history of technology. The second search seeks a tenure-track faculty member in historic preservation, architectural history, or public history.
Please see the job ads below for more detail on both these positions.
We are fortunate in these uncertain times to be moving forward with both these positions and hope to complete our searches by the end of the academic year. For this reason we will begin reviewing applications on March 23rd.
Would you please pass these job ads on to any promising students or any other well qualified individual you feel might be suited to one of these two positions. We are accepting applications from A.B.D. students who expect to graduate by next fall or soon thereafter.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration regarding these positions.
Sincerely,
Sam Sweitz
