With apologies for cross posting:
Post doctoral research fellow vacancy
The University of Plymouth is expanding the Centre for Sustainable Transport. We are looking for a highly motivated and capable individual to join our team as a post-doctoral research fellow. This strategic post comes with a large degree of latitude for you to innovate and develop your own research agenda and profile. As such it presents an exciting opportunity to influence transport debates in the UK and internationally.
We encourage applications from the full range of transport-related research areas including, but not limited to, the disciplinary backgrounds of our existing staff. Skills in writing grant proposals and academic papers and policy literature will be required, and some teaching experience is preferred. A PhD in a transport-related discipline is essential, as are the personal qualities of initiative, diligence and flexibility.
This is a fixed term appointment for three years.
For an informal discussion, please contact Professor Jon Shaw at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Further details about the post and the application procedure are available: http://www.plymouth.ac.uk/pages/view.asp?page=25975
