Mirtes.
Implicit masks are usually based on excluding particular voxel values
in an image either NaN or 0's. Perhaps you mean an explicit mask, that
is you want to mask in /out certain regions of an image, not based on
voxel value but rather by whether they appeared on another analysis or
are part of a region of interest, etc. In this case display your
contrast and then click the save image button in the lower interactive
window. This image can now be used as an explicit mask in your
analysis.
