Hi Nora,
just in case you want to look at children, may I suggest you check out
the Template-O-Matic toolbox as available from
http://www.irc.cchmc.org/software/tom.php. It runs on spm5 but the
generated templates are downward compatible. Depending on your number of
subjects (see the paper in NI 2008 for some examples), the statistically
derived templates look much better.

27-year-old college students, for them, the MNI brain works just fine :)
