The Science Communication Conference takes place on 22 & 23 June at Kings Place, London.
Sessions at the conference will explore a range of themes, including:
* Moving forward with Beacons for Public Engagement
* Whether public engagement works
* Looking at public engagement through the web
* Science Festivals and their effectiveness
* How popular culture can be used as a tool for public engagement
* Creating culturally relevant science cafes
* Sustainability of public engagement projects
The theme for this year's conference is behaviour and choice - exploring the role that science communicators should or could play as influencers of behavioural change. The keynote speaker is Jonathon Porritt who will talk about influencing choice with regard to environmental issues.
