The Business School of Loughborough University invites applications for up
to 9 PhD studentships, commencing in October 2009.
The PhD studentships are for a duration of 3 years and are available for
up to £17,500 pa (including fees paid at the UK/EU rate).
Loughborough University was named University of the Year 2008-2009 by the
Sunday Times and has won the Times Higher Best Student Experience for
2006, 2007 and 2008.
Loughborough University Business School’s research facility is an
international centre of academic excellence. The School is one of 5%
Business Schools in the world to be EQUIS accredited and was recognized in
the recent UK Research Assessment Exercise as having 60% of its research
rated as ‘World Leading’ or ‘Internationally Excellent’.
The Business School has approximately 72 academic staff, including 22
Professors, engaged in research programmes supported by a dedicated
research team. Research is carried out in the following fields:

Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour
International Business & Strategy
Management Science & Information Systems
Marketing and Retailing
