It seems to me that even if some authoritative organisation, such as
C24, organises the annotation of such data, then the 'contract' exists
between C24 and the user of that data. Google, as a business or
organisational entity need not be involved. This would, presumably,
suit Google who would then not have to change their model.
It is my impression that Google tends not to deal with such
organisations offering them authoritative sources - but I'm suggesting
that value can be added by C24 without needing to deal with them
directly.
Or have I missed the point....?
