The next meeting of the RSC Chemical Information and Computer Applications Group will be held on Wednesday 20th May 2009, at The Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, W1J 0BA, between 10:30 and 16:10.
The meeting will explore the tools and methods for mining chemical information such as text, structures and data. Speakers include Peter Corbett (Unilever Centre for Molecular Informatics, Cambridge); Sophia Ananiadou (NaCTeM, Manchester); Stéphane Vellay (Accelrys); Darren Green (GSK), Jeanette Eldridge (AstraZeneca); Neil Stutchbury and Richard Kidd (both RSC).
The AGM of the Chemical Information & Computer Applications Group will follow the meeting at approximately 16:30, including wine and cheese.
This meeting represents extremely good value for money, as the cost is only £30 for RSC-CICAG members and £40 for non-members, including coffee, tea and lunch. (No payment is required if you wish to attend the AGM only).
