International Projects and Tour of Edinburgh Central Library

You are invited to the 2008 AGM of the Career Development Group
(Scottish Division), a talk on CDG International and a guided tour of
Edinburgh Central Library to be held on Wednesday 8th April at 2.15pm.
Tracey Ainsley, the CDG International Relations Officer, will be
giving a talk on past and present International projects, such as the
African Prisons Project; Voluntary Services Overseas; Cuban Public
Library Project; and Partnerships in Health Information, as well as
looking at fundraising initiatives. CDG (Scottish Division) will also
be launching its new reading challenge, **Passport to Another World**.
The tour of Edinburgh Central Library will include: the Edinburgh
Room; Scottish Library; Reference Library; and Central Lending Library.
This event is free and refreshments are provided. There are limited
places available, so please confirm your attendance. A donation of
£3.00 to go to CDG International Projects is suggested.
