Hello All,
I have started recently, have mainly used it personally, but we are
looking at using it for our Learning and Teaching Symposium this year.
Am thinking of using it for publicity at the moment, and keeping people
engaged with what is going on in our area.
My username is davedon

I twitter not ... have been resisting ... but interested to hear what
Frances and others say .. will investigate ... but that would be a
dangerous divergence from the virtuous path of sticking to my work
agenda this afternoon.
I wish weekend to us all

* Gobbledegook alert*
If everyone on this list who is on twitter tweeted Hello #ldhen, then
that should aggregate the identities of those on twitter. Wait a few
days , then go to http://search.twitter.com/ and search for #ldhen.
I have just tested this and it works from twitter.com (but for some
reason not for my twhirl client).
For anyone not on twitter who wonders if it is good idea , you could
google or perhaps glance at this

on.html
For me, the costs (dipping in when convenient and checking my @messages)
are more than repaid by the useful links and availability of 'free'
advice and answers that I have received. There are many uses to be made
with students too.

I am, but haven't #ldhen in any tweets yet!
(my username is beckacurrant, but many of my tweets are 'personal'
rather than work)
There are some good e-learning/web2.0 streams around too.

Subject: Twitter
Is anyone else in this network on Twitter? I just did a search for LDHEN
on Twitter and it asked if I wanted to try a language other than
English! I find it a really useful network, esp for work purposes, so if
anyone else is on there, please let me know (or send me a tweet).
Thanks
