With a single seed mask, the waytotal=# of samples sent out from the mask,
which equals #vox * #samples. The number displayed in the max of FSLView is
either the cal_max in the NIFTI header or the 98% percentile value, whereas
fslstats -R gives you the largest value. I don't know what you want to do
with in question two, but avwmaths_32R (and anything else avw) has been
changed to fslmaths (or fsl... for another command).
Peace,
Matt.

Subject: [FSL] fdt_paths.nii.gz
Hi,
I got my fdt_paths.nii.gz file. I used single mask as a seed space, which
were b0images. Since it is a phantom data, I used 500 number of samples and
curvature thr of 0.93(cos20 for my phantom) and modified Euler streamlining
with maximum step of 60 and step length 1mm and aniostropy to constrain
tracking.
1. I checked fdt_path images with fslview and fslstats and waytotal. fslview
showed the maximum of 834.67 and fslstats showed max of 2021 and waytotal of
5.8268x10^7. How are they related?
2. I wanted to see path images on FA map. What commands do I need? I found
avwmaths-32R fdt_path -thr -mul dti_FA outputfile. I am using FSL v4. What
maths commands that I need to use?
Thanks,
Mi Jung
