Dear Heads of Economics Departments

We would appreciate if the following information could be circulated to all
your final year economics UG students; thank you.

-----------------------------

Health economics is a growing area of applied economics where there is a
national shortage of specialists, especially with good masters level
qualifications.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), the Medical Research
Council (MRC), and the Economics and Social Sciences Research Council
(ESRC) jointly fund 15 full time MSc studentships for UK students at the
universities below.

The studentships cover home student fees and a student stipend set by
research councils.

Further information is available from each institution.
