Hi Pauline
We ask student to complete a sheltered exam form which is then checked
against their assessed requirement. If there are any discrepancies
between the form and the assessment we contact the student.
Hope this helps

Subject: Students not taking up examination arrangements
We have an increasing number of students with a variety of examination
arrangements requiring readers, amanuenses, separate rooms and
individual
rooms. A substantial minority of students fail to use their recommended
support, which is a poor use of resources in terms of time taken to
organise
these and payment for people providing the support.
We are considering asking students to sign an agreement that they will
pay
some/all of the costs if they do not use their arrangements and do not
cancel
beforehand. Is this a route anyone else has explored?
