If you google on the topic you'll see a number of articles suggesting
that this is inaccurate. I'm not a fan of FB, but this doesn't seem to
be true.
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/02/02/newsflash-facebook-not-cashing-in-on-friends/
is an example. Perhaps both are wrong and something else is
happening, but not this time.
I don't really trust journalists (or anyone one who makes a living off
news) to care about accuracy of their work, so going with just one
source is problematic.
