Note that merely changing the subject line still hijacks the thread,
for those of us using appropriate mail software (basically everything
except Microsoft Outlook, I think). The best way to post a new message
is to... post a new message, addressed to [log in to unmask]
Congrats on the Twitter follower count: >50,000 is madness. That's
actually more than the Mars Phoenix lander had at its peak, though
there are many more people involved now. It looks like you got picked
up by a bunch of the astronomy blogs (some of which have huge
readerships), then a few more mainstream sites, and finally ended up
in the 'featured' sidebar of http://twitter.com/public_timeline.
Fascinating example of something going madly viral.
