Up to a point, Lord Copper. (A phrase often misinterpreted to be less
confrontational than intended.)
As someone involved in decisions to throw large lumps of money from the
Wellcome Trust at the place, my memory is that the BA, while an important
part of the portfolio, was never the raison d'etre of the Dana Centre.
Colin Blakemore may know more. He was on the Dana side of the equation.

Yesbut the Dana Centre was concieved as the built for purpose HQ for the BA,
(Now BSA) and a London centre for DANA, sorry history hurts.
