Oddly enough, I began to read Wuthering Heights again last night. It's
actually a very strange book indeed.
There's a very interesting film version set in Spain by Luis Bunuel,
which for me gets the real heart of the book, its incredibly violent,
amoral sadism. It opens with Edgar in the kitchen gassing butterflies
and goes from there.
