Didn't include Appletreewick because it was so obviously a placename, I just searched the names "tree" and "bush".
A few others that come to mind:
Llwyn Du Mine (nr Beddgelert) translates I think as Black Bush Mine
Wheal Oak (Lelant?, Cornwall)
Wheal Spearn (Morvah, Cornwall) & SpearnConsols/Spearn Moor/Wheal Spearn (St Just, Cornwall) - I think Spearn is Cornish for thorn tree (both these areas notably lack trees so perhaps these could relate to the original topic).
I'm sure there would be many others with Welsh/Cornish names.
For anyone with the time a search through Dines for shaft names might be useful...
