I agree
Manchester was good for me location wise, BUT like all good cities it has a
habit of enticing people away for the conference and into the city for
shopping etc, and actually the facilities were quite poor.
Hatfield is not a good location for many, too far South and not direct
enough, there are good paces in Birmingham, Leeds etc, which are more
central and good travel arrangements, maybe even when there is snow
Maybe there should be a maximum of 2 or 3 years at a a venue and then move,
so staff have time to get a good and easier second year and are planning new
venues in advance and maybe at better rates?
