‘Seattle in the Summer’
Postgraduate ID and ASD Scientific Conference.
A scientific conference for postgraduate students and early researchers in the
intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder fields will be convened at
The School of Psychology, University of Birmingham on 27th and 28th July,
2009. The organisers invite the submission of oral or poster presentations on
all aspects of intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder including:
physical, cognitive and behavioural phenotypes and education and
intervention strategies. Submissions will be reviewed by a committee
comprising members from a selection of institutions.
Submission is by 300 word abstract. The abstract should be preceded by the
title, followed by the name and contact details of the senior author and then
the initials, surname and affiliation of all authors. The abstract should be
presented using the headings: Background, Methods, Results and Discussion
with six keywords beneath the body of the text. References should be in APA
style. The closing date for submission of abstracts is 22nd May, 2009.
Presenters will be informed whether their presentation has been accepted as
an oral or poster presentation by 15th June, 2009.
